Short answers
Teak dining set questions
The long ones go to help@teakpatiostore.com.
How many people does a 7-piece teak set seat
Six. A 7-piece set is one table and six chairs, a 9-piece seats eight and a 5-piece seats four. The Sonoma table is 65 by 35 in, the Windsor folding set seats six at a 47 in square table.
How long does a teak outdoor dining set last
No maker publishes years. The USDA Wood Handbook rates old growth teak heartwood very resistant to decay and young growth teak moderately resistant. How long a set lasts depends on joinery, use and care; Anderson backs its frames for 2 years in home use.
Can a teak dining set stay outside all year
Yes. Anderson says teak can stay out in rain and sun all year. It turns silver gray and keeps its strength. Bring cushions in and keep snow off the tabletop.
Do teak dining sets need assembly
Anderson ships most tables ready to use and the chairs with light assembly. Each card lists the maker assembly note for the table and the chairs separately.
