Teak Brands Compared
Teak frame warranties run from 2 years at Anderson Teak and Teak Warehouse to 5 at Gloster and Kingsley Bate and 10 on Barlow Tyrie teak (5 on its Rustic Teak, home use only), and Westminster calls its teak warranty lifetime. All seven brands say their teak comes from Indonesian plantations. We sell Anderson Teak; every other figure is from the brand site.
How to judge a brand
- Wood
- Grade A means heartwood, but no agency certifies it. A named legal timber system such as SVLK is checkable.
- Drying
- A published moisture figure, around 8 to 12 percent, tells you the wood was dried before it was cut.
- Warranty
- Read the exclusions: every brand here leaves out small cracks in the end grain and weathering.
- Who you buy from
- Delivery, returns and claims come from the seller, so a dealer brand can feel different from store to store.

Westminster lifetime coverage is limited, applies to the original buyer and leaves out furniture bought before 2004. Barlow Tyrie gives 10 years on teak and 5 on its Rustic Teak line in its warranty table, for home use only.

Which brand of teak furniture is considered the best
No independent test ranks teak brands. Compare what each publishes: the wood and where it is from, the drying figure, the joinery, the frame warranty and its exclusions, and the delivery and returns of the store you buy from.
Which teak brand has the longest warranty
Westminster calls its teak warranty lifetime, limited and for the original buyer. Barlow Tyrie gives 10 years on teak for home use, 5 on Rustic Teak, Gloster and Kingsley Bate 5, Country Casual 3, Anderson Teak and Teak Warehouse 2.
Country Casual vs Westminster Teak
Both sell direct and say grade A Indonesian teak dried to about 10 percent. Westminster gives a limited lifetime teak warranty, free curbside delivery and free returns within 30 days of delivery. Country Casual gives 3 years and refunds less shipping within 30 days.
Gloster vs Kingsley Bate
Both give 5 years on teak frames and sell through retailers, so price, delivery and returns come from the store. Kingsley Bate adds 3 years for commercial use and calls its teak grade A; Gloster says logs are at least about 35 years old and gives no letter grade.

All seven brands on this page say their teak comes from Indonesian plantations, most of it from Java.
