Will the teak turn gray
Yes, unfinished teak weathers to a silver-gray patina outdoors. Anderson notes this does not affect strength; to keep the golden color, clean it and apply a teak sealer about once a year.
Can it be used in the shower
Yes, Anderson lists it for shower, spa or other wet areas.
How much weight does it hold
The feature list rates the chair at 265 lb, while the description mentions a 500 lb max load. We go by the lower figure.
How is it mounted
It attaches to the wall with stainless steel brackets that click-lock open and fold flat when not in use. Mount into studs or solid backing.
How is it shipped

How long will teak last in a shower
No maker publishes a number of years. Teak resists rot, so care decides: rinse soap off after use, let it dry, and scrub with mild soap about once a month. The stool and the bench arrive with a water based sealer.
What is the ADA height for shower seats
The 2010 ADA Standards put shower seats 17 to 19 in above the bathroom floor. The corner stool and the Madison bench both sit at 18 in.
