It ships treated with a water-based sealer. Over time outdoor teak still weathers toward silver-gray unless cleaned and re-oiled.

Yes, Anderson lists it for shower, spa or other wet areas.
How is it shipped
Ships by parcel carrier from the partner warehouse.
How long will teak last in a shower
No maker publishes a number of years. Teak resists rot, so care decides: rinse soap off after use, let it dry, and scrub with mild soap about once a month. The stool and the bench arrive with a water based sealer.
What is the ADA height for shower seats
The 2010 ADA Standards put shower seats 17 to 19 in above the bathroom floor. The corner stool and the Madison bench both sit at 18 in.
